Contest Information & Dates

• Logo and essay contest for all St. Vrain School District students
• Contestants MUST be a student in the St. Vrain School District
• Contest is open to all grade levels (K-12)
• Students can send a submission for both contests but can not send more than one (1) entry per contest
• Website created for students to view for more information and contest submission
• Contest opens –August 7, 2009
• Contest submission deadline – August 31, 2009
• Winners announced – September 15, 2009

Logo Contest

• Let your creativity come to life and design the logo that will be used during the WorldView-2 Launch
• Design the “Launch Your WorldView” logo
• Logo can be computer generated or hand drawn
• Logo must include the tag line – “Launch Your WorldView”

Essay Contest

• Write an essay 500-word maximum essay titled “How would you use the WorldView-2 satellite to help the planet?”
• Student’s essay must reflect that he/she has researched DigitalGlobe, the WorldView-2 satellite, DigitalGlobe’s imagery and applications
