Access online earth images in your projects, instantly.DigitalGlobe's ImageConnect
service for AutoCAD Map3D delivers georeferenced satellite and aerial
images directly into your projects from the world's largest online
imagery archive. How it works Once the plug-in is installed and the Toolbar is activated, five new icons will imbed in your software that let you choose and download images from our archive. ImageConnect detects your coordinates and projection, filling your map view with geo-referenced jpeg images of your desired date and resolution. Images can be customized up to 5000x5000 pixels (about 2 MB) in size and come with a coordinate file (worldfile). All downloads save to your computer for further use. Choose your data View the most recent image or check the library for older images for change detection. Most areas have several dates and resolutions to choose from.
Compatibility ImageConnect is currently compatible with AutoCAD Map 3D 2007 and 2008, as well as other geo-referenced AutoCAD packages.
