Dan Jablonsky joined DigitalGlobe in 2012 and currently serves as our President. Prior to DigitalGlobe, Dan was an attorney at Brownstein, Hyatt, Farber, Schreck and led global legal teams while at Flextronics International LTD, a global multibillion-dollar technology supply chain company. Dan holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the U.S. Naval Academy, a Juris Doctor from the University of Washington School of Law, and is currently an adjunct professor at the University of Denver, Sturm College of Law. Additionally, Dan served as a Surface Warfare Officer and Nuclear Engineer in the U.S. Navy.
Dr. Walter Scott
Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer
Dr. Walter S. Scott is our founder and currently serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer. He also serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer for Maxar Technologies. He is responsible for DigitalGlobe’s Platform Business Unit, as well as space system acquisition. From 1986 through 1992, Walter held a number of technical, program, and department management positions at the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, including serving as the assistant associate director of the Physics Department. Prior to this, Walter served as president of Scott Consulting, a Unix systems and applications consulting firm. Walter holds a Bachelor of Arts in Applied Mathematics, magna cum laude, from Harvard College and a Doctorate and Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
Chief Financial Officer
Randy joined DigitalGlobe in April 2018 as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, based in Westminster, Colorado. He also serves as Senior Vice President and Corporate Treasurer of Maxar Technologies, DigitalGlobe’s parent company. As CFO, Randy is responsible for driving the financial performance of DigitalGlobe, including managing risk, planning and reporting. Previously, Randy worked at Bank of America Merrill Lynch for eight years, serving as Managing Director, Global Head of Aerospace and Defense. In that role he supported CEOs, CFOs and Boards of Directors, focusing on M&A and strategic finance. He has more than 20 years of finance experience at companies including AIG, Morgan Stanley and Lehman Brothers. Randy has a bachelor’s degree in economics from Vanderbilt University and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
Senior Vice President, Operations
Jeff Culwell joined DigitalGlobe in 1998 and currently serves as Senior Vice President, Operations. DigitalGlobe’s Operations serves our Commercial and US Government customers, providing low latency imagery via direct access to the satellite or via electronic terrestrial communications. Jeff is also responsible for our satellite constellation, remote ground terminals, and our customer installations enabling direct access to the constellation. Prior to DigitalGlobe, Jeff was at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory working on the Galileo mission to explore Jupiter and its moons and subsequently working on the Deep Space 1 mission to prove 13 new satellite technologies. Jeff holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering Sciences from University of Colorado at Boulder, and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from California State University, Los Angeles.
Dr. Shay Har-Noy
Vice President and General Manager, Platform
Dr. Shay Har-Noy serves as Vice President and General Manager, Platform -- our fast paced, high growth effort to get DigitalGlobe’s time-lapse, digital library in the cloud and available for processing. Before joining DigitalGlobe, Shay (pronounced ‘shy’) was founder and CEO of Tomnod, an innovative company combining crowdsourcing and machine learning to create new applications for satellite imagery. Tomnod was acquired by DigitalGlobe in early 2013 and is now a critical component of our Geospatial Big Data portfolio. Shay was previously at ViaSat where he worked on the deployment and market positioning of satellite communication systems around the globe. Shay graduated summa cum laude from Rice University with degrees in Economics and Electrical Engineering and received a Ph.D in Electrical Engineering with research in image processing from UC-San Diego.
Senior Vice President and General Manager, Commercial
Amy Minnick joined DigitalGlobe in 2016 as Senior Vice President and General Manager, Commercial. In this role, she drives the Commercial Business working with the Sales, Marketing, Product and Strategy organizations, and focuses on building relationships with key customers to ensure our product portfolio aligns with their needs. Prior to joining DigitalGlobe, she worked at IHS Markit for six years, most recently as Senior Vice President, General Manager for the technology, media and telecom business. Previously, Amy worked at LexisNexis and at McKinsey & Co. as a consultant in the technology, media and telecom practice. She began her career at Goldman Sachs as an analyst in corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions. She also currently serves as a board member of the Colorado Innovation Network. Amy has a bachelor’s degree in political economy from Williams College and an MBA from Harvard Business School where she graduated as a Baker Scholar.
Senior Vice President and General Manager, Defense and Intelligence
Jeff Kerridge joined DigitalGlobe in 1996 and currently serves as our Senior Vice President and General Manager, Defense and Intelligence. Previously, he was Senior Vice President and General Manager responsible for the Defense and Intelligence Business Unit, which included sales, marketing, production and customer service to all international and U.S. defense/intelligence customers. Jeff joined DigitalGlobe in 1996 as director of Defense/Intelligence Sales and was appointed Vice President of Sales and Marketing in 1998. In addition to sales, Jeff managed Government Relations for the company from 1998-2003. Prior to joining DigitalGlobe, Jeff spent nearly 12 years with the Central Intelligence Agency’s National Photographic Interpretation Center (which ultimately became a part of NGA), serving in many capacities including strategic planning, division level officer; program management, branch chief; and analyst. Jeff earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in geography from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
Vice President, US Government Program Office
William Arras serves as Vice President, US Government Program Office and has led the US Government business for well over a decade. He is a retired Commander who served as a Naval Intelligence Officer. William was stationed around the globe and had afloat tours on three aircraft carriers, to include the Desert Shield and Desert Storm campaigns. After retiring from the Navy, he joined EarthWatch in 2000 and has held multiple positions in program and product development, operations, business development, and program management. William graduated from Bradly University in Peoria, IL with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management and Administration and later earned his Master’s degree in Strategic Studies at the College of Command and Staff within the Naval War College in Newport, RI.
Senior Vice President, Chief Information Officer
Jeff Robertson joined DigitalGlobe in February 2014 and currently serves as our Senior Vice President, Chief Information Officer. He also services as Senior Vice President, Chief Information Officer for Maxar Technologies. Prior to joining DigitalGlobe, from 2009-2013, Jeff led the Information Technology organization at ADT Security Services, where he served as Chief Information Officer. ADT provides security, video, and home automation solutions to over 6.5 million residential customers and over 100,000 large corporations and US Government agencies. Additionally, Jeff’s prior experience includes launching of an internet start-up and serving as a Senior IT Portfolio Director at CNA Financial Services. Jeff started his career at IBM and spent ten years at Andersen Consulting (later known as Accenture) supporting global organizations. Jeff holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois.
Vice President, DigitalGlobe General Counsel
Tracy Shiflet joined DigitalGlobe in 2014 and currently serves as Vice President, DigitalGlobe General Counsel. Previously, Tracy was Associate General Counsel responsible for providing legal support for our commercial business and space programs as well as managing our intellectual property portfolio. Prior to joining DigitalGlobe, Tracy worked in private practice and held in-house counsel positions at Advanced Micro Devices, Gap Inc. and Seagate Technology. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Virginia, JD from the University of Texas at Austin and MBA from UCLA.
Senior Director of Marketing & Communications
Staci McKee joined DigitalGlobe in 2017 and serves as the Senior Director of Marketing & Communications. Prior to joining DigitalGlobe, she worked at IBM, driving digital and demand marketing strategies for their hardware and software business across multiple industries, including technology, public sector, healthcare and life sciences. Staci has spent the bulk of her career working for hi-tech organizations from Sun Microsystems (Now Oracle), ICG (Now Level 3) and several start-up organizations. Staci has a bachelor's degree in Marketing from Montana State University and graduated on the Dean's List.
Senior Director of Corporate Strategy
Megan Wood joined DigitalGlobe in 2014 and serves as Senior Director of Corporate Strategy. Prior to joining DigitalGlobe, she worked at Bain & Co, driving strategies across many functions and industries, including technology and private equity. Megan also worked at Citigroup and LaSalle Bank in a sales and trading function on the buy-side and sell-side. Megan has a bachelor's degree in Finance from the University of Kansas and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
